Big Brother 8 Housemates Where Are They Now?


Find out who the housemates from Big Brother 8 were and what happened to them after they left the Big Brother house. 




Amy Alexander

Amy Alexander, 21, was a glamour model from Grimsby. 

She was known in the house for flirting with Liam. 

She was evicted in week 10 with 58% of the vote. 

Amy was a glamour model before entering the house and went back to glamour modelling after leaving the house.



Billi Bhatti

Billi Bhatti, 25, was a model from London. 

He was known in the house for being totally vain and standing up to Charley in an argument. 

He was evicted in week 4 with 55.1% of the vote. 

After leaving the house, he wed girlfriend Holli in Las Vegas and had a son called Austin. He snogged Diana Vickers and has had Twitter rows with other ex BB/CBB house mates including Rylan and John James. He became a wrestler, wrestling under the name Billi Lightning.



Brian Belo

Brian Belo, 19, was a data assistant from Essex. 

He was known in the house for his romance with Amanda. 

He came first, winning Big Brother 8 with 60.3% of the vote. 

After leaving the house, Brian and Amanda dated briefly  Brian appeared in Hollyoaks after talking about his love for the show in the house and became a regular on Harry Hill's TV Burp. He has returned to the house twice for tasks in 2009 and appeared in Dead Set. In 2013, he reached a million pound settlement with the makers of The Only Way is Essex after claiming that he played a part in coming up with the concept of the show. Brian appeared on a Come Dine with Me Big Brother Winners Special and a Coach Trip celebrity special. He released single "Essex Boy" which failed to make it into the charts.



Carole Vincent

Carole Vincent, 53, was a sexual health worker from London. 


She was known in the house for being the mum of the house. 

She came fifth place in the final with 4.9% of the vote to win. 

After leaving the house, Carole was arrested and charged with theft for allegedly nicking a policeman's truncheon during an anti-war demo, she was later cleared of the charge. She posed nude for Closer magazine and looked fabulous.



Chanelle Hayes

Chanelle Hayes, 19, was a student from Wakefield. 

She was known in the house for her on/off relationship with Ziggy. 

She voluntarily left the house in week 9 due to the pressure of her relationship with Ziggy. 

After leaving the house, she appeared in various states of undress in all the lads magazines and released perfume "Mwah", which is still available to buy in Savers. In 2008, she had a column for Star magazine on Big Brother 9. She dated Josh Singleton for 6 months in 2015, Jack Tweed on and off since 2010 and has had frequent twitter rows with both. Prior to this had dated footballer Matthew Bates, with whom she has son Blakely. In 2008, she reached number 63 in the UK charts and had top ten hits in Turkey and Russia with single, "I Want It". She now owns a cake/cupcake business and is a make up artist.



Charley Uchea

Charley Uchea, 21 was unemployed and from London. 

She was known for bitching, the fake eviction, the all night argument and even more bitching.

She was evicted in week 8 with 85.6% of the vote. 

After leaving the house, she did various photo shoots for the lads mags, was papped falling out of parties/tops and she now owns a store specialising in cute shabby chic furnishings called Belle Chic in Bromley, Kent.



David Parnaby

David Parnaby, 25, was a visual merchandiser from Ayr in Scotland. 

He was known in the house for his brief bromance with Gerry. 

He was evicted in week 10 after just 4 days in the house with 37% of the vote. 

After the house, he returned to his previous career in retail.



Emily Parr

Emily Parr, 19, was a student from Bristol. 

She was known in the house for saying the N word, off the cuff and with no malice to another house mate. 

She was removed from the house in week 2 due to this but she genuinely showed remorse and apologised to all involved. 

After leaving the house, she went to University to study acting and drama and had a part as an extra in the film The Wolfman amongst other small roles in theatres around the South West. She also appeared in a few lads mags.



Gerry Stergiopoulos

Gerry Stergiopoulos, 31, was a gallery worker in London. 

 He was known in the house for kissing Seany during a game of Spin the Bottle and being the house Agony Uncle. 

He was evicted in week 12 with 3 out of 3 votes to evict chosen by Samanda, Tracey and Ziggy. 

Since leaving the house, Gerry has become an Agony Uncle and Author, he wrote Treat the Mean, and Keep Them Keen and has written for many magazines with numerous columns and features about his book. He is also a scriptwriter and wrote 11 episodes of 'Loveline' for MTV Italy.



Jonathan Durden

Jonathan Durden, 49, was an entrepreneur from London. 

He was known in the house for threatening to leave the house. 

He voluntarily walked out the house in week 6 after being told by Big Brother that his Grandmother had died. 

After the house, Jonathan has a successful career in PR and media. He wrote a book called 'Essex, Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll', which is available to buy on eBay.



Jonty Stern

Jonty Stern, 36, was a museum worker from London. 

He came sixth place in the final with 3% of the vote. 

He was known in the house for Munkitty Tunkitty ♥. 

After the house, he stood as the Liberal Democrat candidate for Totteridge in the 2009 by-election.



Kara-Louise Horne

Kara-Louise Horne, 22, was a student from London. 

She was known in the house for going back and forth between the house and halfway house. 

She was evicted in week 12 with 30.8% of the vote. 

She made a few appearances after the show but has stayed out the limelight, she now lives in Harrow and has had a son.



Laura Williams

Laura Williams, 23, was a nanny from South Wales. 

She was known in the house for constantly wearing her dressing gown and her nickname "Wangers". 

She was evicted in week 5 with 68.1% of the vote. 

After the house, Laura was approached by Lads Mags to pose topless but refused due to her wish to return to her career in childcare. She appeared in the pantomime Aladdin at the Parc and Dare Theatre, Treorchy.



Lesley Brain

Lesley Brain, 60, was retired and from Gloucestershire. 

She was known in the house for her wit and humour. 

She voluntarily left the house in week 2. 

After the house, she wrote a book about her experiences of the house called A Minority of One. She wrote various columns for newspapers and magazines about Big Brother and was asked to return to Big Brother to represent the losers.



Liam McGough

Liam McGough, 22, was a tree surgeon from County Durham. 


He was known in the house for his fling with Amy and in week 3 being chosen to win 100k. 

He came in third place in the final with 19.1% of the vote. 

After leaving the house, Liam spent the £100k he won in a few months, spending the money on his family, as his mum had MS and he also put some towards a house. He has since returned to his previous career as a tree surgeon. He sadly lost his mum in 2008 and ran the London Marathon, raising money for the MS Society.




Nicky Maxwell

Nicky Maxwell, 27, was a charity worker from Hertfordshire. 

She was evicted in week 7 with 76% of the vote. 

She was known in the house for being rather moody. 

Since leaving the house, she hasn't stayed in the celebrity limelight and works as an events manager for charity The Peace Hospice. In 2009, she got married and in 2012 gave birth to son Max.



Shabnam Paryani

Shabnam Paryani, 22, was a receptionist from London, she was also in a relationship with BB 11 house mate Ben. 

She was evicted in week 2 with 81.4% of the vote to evict. 

She was known in the house for being honest and a little crazy. Since leaving Big Brother, she hasn't stayed on the celebrity circuit, she was on the 8 out of 10 Cats Big Brother special and then disappeared. She has had various office based roles since leaving the house in and around London.



Shanessa Reilly

Shanessa Reilly, 26, was a care worker and stripper from Cardiff. 

She was known for being in the half way house and not making it into the main Big Brother house. 

She was evicted from the half way house in week week 9 with 38% of the vote. 

After the house, she did not enter the celebrity circuit and seemingly went back to her old career as a care assistant/stripper.



Tracey Barnard

Tracey Barnard, 36, was a cleaner from Cambridge.

She was known in the house for saying "Ave it" a lot. She was evicted in week 12 with 38.5% of the vote to evict.

Since leaving the house, she hasn't stayed in the limelight after Big Brother, she decided she would rather not enter the celebrity circuit. She did a public appearance at her local Co-Op with a £5 charity donation to have a photo taken with her.



Ziggy Lichman


Ziggy Lichman, 26, was a model from London. He was known in the house for his relationship with Chanelle.

He came fourth place in the final with 15.3% of the vote to win.

After Big Brother he did the press circuit about his relationship with Chanelle, posed semi naked in all the womens mags and did lots of interviews. He dated model Chloe Pridham and has been linked to BB Housemate Stephanie McMichael and Eastenders actress Kara Tointon. He appeared in BB reality spin off Dead Set.
