MasterChef US Season 3 Where Are They Now?

MasterChef US Season 3 aired June 04 to September 10, 2012 on Fox Network, there were 18 contestants and the prize for the winner was $250,000, their own cookbook and a MasterChef trophy.

MasterChef US features judges Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliott and Joe Bastianich testing the culinary skills of amateur chefs from the USA with a number of challenges and dishes to prepare, with those failing to impress being sent home.

Anna Rossi was a Pharmaceutical sales rep from Boston, Massachusetts. He was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 9 due to her under cooked tortellini. 

After MasterChef, she became a food writer and blogger and had recipes published in the MasterChef cookbook and for publications including Cosmopolitan and PRIME. She is a television cook appearing on Boston morning television. She also does cookery demonstrations, is a spokesperson for Olivio and  Private Chef for large clients.

Christine Hà was a student from Houston, Texas. She was the winner of MasterChef Season 3 due to her menu in the final. 

After the show, her cookbook Recipes from My Home Kitchen: Asian and American Comfort Food was published, she offers private chef services, is a brand ambassador and food blogger. She co-hosts a television show Four Senses, a cookery programme for those with visual impairments, judged MasterChef Vietnam and appeared on MasterChef US. In 2014, she received the Helen Keller Personal Achievement Award. She is due to open The Blind Goat in Houston in April 2018.

Dave Mack worked in caviar sales and was from Davie, Florida. He was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 4 after he failed to clean the mushrooms. 

After the show, he continued to blog for a few years, he briefly returned to sales before becoming an events chef, catering a number of cookery events all over America and owns private catering company savorhous. He is also Director Of Product Development at Tastebuds Foodservice.

David Martinez was an Educational Administrator from Chicago, Illinois. He was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 16 after a steak cooking challenge. 

After the show, he launched a private dining company  before returning to college to study for a doctorate at Arizona State in Educational finance.

Felix Fang was a Food Runner from Hollywood, California. She was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 15 after her bizarre corn profiteroles failed to impress the judges. 

After the show, she hosted an online web series on Vice, was a private chef catering events and aspiring actress.

Frank Mirando was a Stockbroker from Holbrook, New York. He was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 18 after losing in a souffle challenge when only his cheese souffle impressed the judges. 

After the show, he returned to a career in Wealth Management but still has an interest in cooking and has done a number of charity cookery events. He also shares recipes and food pics on his social media.

Helene Leeds was a Health Coach and former model from Baldwin, Maryland. She was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 6 after her crab soup failed to impress the judges. 

After the show, she returned to her previous career as a Health Coach and also a life coach. She also did a number of cookery demonstrations and cookery events.

Josh Marks was an Army Contract Specialist from Jackson, Mississippi. He was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 12 but returned in episode 14 after winning the special episode and was the runner up of season 3. 

After the show, he sadly committed suicide in October 2013 after a battle with mental illness.

Mairym Monti Carlo was a Homemaker from Los Angeles, California. She was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 17 after her White Tuna Sashimi dish fails to impress. 

After the show, she became a TV judge on a number of Food Network shows and Radio host, food blogger, public speaker, brand spokesperson, does voice overs and is a charity ambassador. She currently hosts Food Network’s Help My Yelp, a show to turn around restaurants that have received poor Yelp reviews.

Mike Hill was a Contractor from Powder Springs, Georgia. He was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 10 after his stone baked lobster failed to impress. 

After the show, he released his own range of spice rubs and has channel Game Table TV, a YouTube Channel focusing on food and also features his family.
Michael Chen was a Meteorology student from Austin, Texas. He was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 5 after putting cheese into his apple pie crust. 

After the show, he dropped out of college and travelled, gaining experience in kitchens in both Canada and the USA before becoming head chef at The Kessler.
Becky Reams was a Food Photographer from Stilwell, Kansas. She was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 19 after her frog legs dish failed to impress. 

After the show, she returned to food photography before opening her own catering and Private Chef company Bang Bang Brunch. She also does pop up events.
Ryan Umane was unemployed and from New York City. He was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 7 after Gordon asked Ryan or Tali to give up their place and he gave up his jacket. 

After the show, he started catering company Flavor Elevator Inc and is also a real estate agent.
Samantha De Silva was a Design Consultant from Miami, Florida. She was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 4 after her duck dish failed to impress. 

After the show, she appears to have continued to cook but awaiting further info on where she is based.
Scott Little was an Interactive Producer from Annandale, Virginia. He was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 8 after his strawberry shortcake failed to impress the judges. 

After the show, he returned to his previous career.
Stacey Amagrande was a Market Manager from Apple Valley, California. She was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 13 after her Japanese sampler failed to impress. 

After the show, she became Executive Chef at 7th Heaven Cafe, which closed in October 2015. She currently works at a Farmers Market.
Tali Clavijo was a Musician from Chicago, Illinois. He was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 11 after his arctic char dish failed to impress. 

After the show, he continued to cook but not professionally and is still a musician. He works for a tech start up company Wag Labs Inc.
Tanya Noble was a student from Austin, Texas. She was eliminated from MasterChef in episode 10 after her dough and garlic were raw in her dish. 

After the show, she moved to Australia and studied cookery and hospitality. She has worked in a number of restaurant and events roles and she is also a restaurant consultant.

MasterChef US Season 2 Contestants Where Are They Now
MasterChef US features Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliott and Joe Bastianich testing the culinary skills of amateur chefs from the USA with a number of challenges and dishes to prepare, with those failing to impress the judges being sent home. 

MasterChef US Season 2 aired June 06 to August 16, 2011 on Fox Network, there were 18 contestants and the prize for the winner was $250,000, their own cookbook and a MasterChef trophy.

Adrien Nieto was a server from Ventura, California. He was runner up in MasterChef season 2 to Jennifer Behm after beating her in the earlier challenges in the finale. 

After the show, he did a number of cookery events, demonstrations and appearances at local restaurants and pop up kitchens.

Alejandra Schrader was an architect from Playa del Rey, California. She was eliminated in MasterChef episode 13 after her pork loin dish failed to impress. 

After the show, she is Chef/Owner of private Chef business,  Alejandra's Natural Foods. She has done cookery events, worked with a number of renowned chefs, hosted charity events and appeared on cookery spots on a number of television shows.

Alvin Schultz was a Retail Manager from Houston, Texas. He was eliminated in MasterChef episode 7 after his deep fried coffee and donuts dish failed to impress.

After the show, he offers cookery services with his company Eat.Drink.EXPERIENCE! and is also a restaurant consultant.

Angel Moore-Soukkay was a Property Manager from Columbus, Ohio. She was eliminated in MasterChef episode 5 after her fruit tart and custard dish wasn't able to be served. 

After the show, she did a number of live cookery events and YouTube videos.

Tony Scruggs was a Trucker from Grant Park, Illinois. He was eliminated in MasterChef episode 6 after his ravioli failed to impress. 

After the show, he briefly ran a catering company specialising in barbecue foods before opening his own restaurant Old Crow Smokehouse in 2013.

Ben Starr was a Travel Writer from Dallas, Texas. He was eliminated in MasterChef episode 17 after he overcooked his venison dish but was praised by Gordon. 

After the show, he was an outspoken critic of the show branding it fake. He is an avid food blogger and owns restaurant Frank Underground alongside fellow season 2 contestant Jennie Kelley.

Christian Collins was a Stay at Home Dad from Gloucester, Massachusetts. He was eliminated in MasterChef episode 19 after his veal dish failed to impress the judges. 

After the show, he did a number of cookery events and launched a catering business.

Christine Corley was a Single Mum from Sopchoppy, Florida. She was eliminated in MasterChef episode 15 after her tomato soup and grilled goats cheese sandwich failed to impress the judges. 

After the show, she was a line chef before launching her own private chef services business. She is currently at College studying for a Criminal Justice/Corrections degree.

Derrick Prince was a Web Designer and blogger from West Babylon, New York. He was eliminated in MasterChef episode 15 after his tomato soup and cheese toastie dish was deemed too simple by Gordon. 

After the show, he continued to write recipes on his blog and is ‎Chef de Cuisine at The Stanton Social.

Erryn Cobb worked in PR and was from Chicago, Illinois. He was eliminated in MasterChef episode 11 after he over burnt the steak during a challenge involving truffles. 

After the show, he returned to being CEO and Co-owner of Fetch Public Relations LLC.

Esther Kang was a Lawyer from Los Angeles, California. She was eliminated in MasterChef episode 10 after she failing to impress with baking tasks during a cocktail party challenge. 

After the show, she returned to her legal career and is currently SVP of Business and Legal Affairs at Lionsgate.

Giuseppe Morisco was a Salesman from Chicago, Illinois. He was eliminated in MasterChef episode 12 after he under cooked his eggs in an Eggs Benedict challenge but received high praise from Gordon. 

After the show, he launched his own private chef company and for a cooking holiday company Food Lover Retreats. He opened his own restaurant Morisco Ristorante Italiano in Davao City with excellent reviews but closed within a year.

Jennie Kelley was a musician from Dallas, Texas. She was eliminated in MasterChef episode 9 after failing to impress after an elimination challenge which saw them cooking a dish from Whitney's cookbook. 

After the show, she opened Frank Underground, a private dining experience with fellow contestant Ben Starr and is a food blogger at The Perfect Bite.

Jennifer Behm was a Realtor from Wilmington, Delaware. She was the MasterChef Season 2 winner after her three course dinner consisting of scallops, quail and a poached pear impressed the judges. 

After the show, she did a number of cookery events/demonstrations, started her own catering company Pink Martini Catering and runs restaurant Red Fin Crudo with her husband Julio.

Mark Raffaelli was a Realtor from Chicago, Illinois. He was eliminated in MasterChef episode 5 after there was raw flour in his mashed potato. 

After the show, he returned to his previous career in realty.

Max Kramer was a College Student from New York City. He was eliminated in MasterChef episode 8 after a pressure test of cooking steak three different ways - rare, medium and well done. 

After the show, he returned to college and was photographed in 2017 alongside Donald Trump at his golf club.

Suzy Singh was a Neural Engineer from Chicago, Illinois. She was eliminated in MasterChef episode 18 after her lemon meringue pie failed to impress the judges. 

After the show, she started her own private chef and food consultancy business and in 2013 she became Research and Development Corporate Chef at NOW Foods.

Tracy Kontos was a Sales Consultant from Coral Springs, Florida. She was eliminated in MasterChef episode 16 after she failed to prepare and cook a whole salmon but was praised by Gordon and promised some culinary training as she had lost her job to appear on the show. 

After the show, she interned at a number of prestigious restaurants before starting her own catering company and WILFS, a community for women in the food industry.

MasterChef US Season 1 Where Are They Now?

MasterChef Season 1 Contestants
MasterChef US features Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliott and Joe Bastianich/Christina Tosi testing the culinary skills of amateur chefs from the USA with a number of challenges and dishes to prepare, with those failing to impress being sent home.  

MasterChef Season 1 aired July 27 to September 15, 2010 on Fox Network, there were 14 contestants and the prize for the winner was $250,000, their own cookbook and a MasterChef trophy.

Anthony aka Tony Carbone was a Server from Boston, Massachusetts. He was eliminated in MasterChef episode 7 after failing a task to identify different ingredients. 

After the show, he started his own personal chef business with his own catering company The Urban Epicurean. He offers private dining experiences, prepared meals, cookery classes and pizza parties.

Avis White was a Caregiver from Vacherie, Louisiana. She was eliminated in MasterChef episode 4 after her orange chicken dish landed her in the bottom 3. 

After the show, she opened her own restaurant Avi's Restaurant in August 2016, located at the Quality Inn Hotel in LaPlace and reviews are excellent.

David Miller was a Software Engineer from Boston, Massachusetts. He was the runner up in MasterChef season 1 losing to Whitney. 

After the show, he got married in Vegas and returned to his previous career in software but still has his passion for cooking, often posting on social media.

Faruq Jenkins aka Faruq Tauheed was a Bartender from Glendale, California. He was eliminated in MasterChef episode 6 after his halibut dish landed him in the bottom 3. 

After the show, he presented Battlebots on the Science Channel, is an actor who has appeared in numerous television shows and a voice actor on children's cartoons and video games.

Jake Gandolfo was a Construction Worker from Santa Cruz, California. He was eliminated in MasterChef episode 9 after the team failed a pasta making challenge.

After the show, he has done a number of charity cooking events including supporting the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies, he appeared on season 3 of Beat Bobby Flay and currently the owner and Pit Master at BlackBoard Bar B Q in Boerne, Texas and reviews are excellent.

Jenna Hamiter was a Homemaker from Euless, Texas. She was eliminated in MasterChef episode 5 after naming the least ingredients (7/20) in a chilli dish. 

After leaving the show, she became an actress and model.

Kim Dung aka Slim Huynh was a College Student from Harvey, Louisiana. She was eliminated in MasterChef episode 8 due to her passion fruit fondue failing to impress. 

After the show, she returned to college to finish her college degree and part time restaurant work.

Lee Knaz was a Bartender from Venice, California. He was eliminated in MasterChef episode 12 after losing to Whitney in the cook off. 

After the show, he offers personal catering services from his catering company Mission Olive and also meal delivery, an e-cookbook cookery classes through company The Mediterranean Guy.

Mike Kim was a Server from Redondo Beach, California. He was eliminated in MasterChef episode 10 after his poached pear trifle failed to impress Gordon. 

After the show, he opened a pop up restaurant called RnD Table with a friend that has since closed and has worked in restaurants in LA, including The Bazaar at the SLS Hotel and working for events company Plan on Q.

Sharone Hakman was a Financial Advisor from Los Angeles, California. He was eliminated in MasterChef episode 11 due to an under cooked souffle. 

After the show, he launched his own range of sauces and dressings called Haks and appeared on Kocktails with Khloe.

Sheena Zadeh was a Marketing Executive from Anaheim, California. She was eliminated in MasterChef episode 4 after her mandarin orange salad landed her in the bottom 3. 

After the show, she appeared in television shows House and Banshee and is currently a cosmetics salesperson. She married director Greg Yaitanes in November 2012.

Sheetal Bhagat was a Teacher from Chicago, Illinois. She was eliminated in MasterChef episode 12 after a cook off of Veal Milanese, apple pie and clam chowder against David. 

After the show, she launched Spice Note Tequila, met and married an architect and has had a career in music. She can often be found singing the national anthem at Wrigley Stadium in Chicago and she planned to release an album.
Tracy Nailor was a doctor from Atlanta, Georgia. She was eliminated in MasterChef episode 9 after her pasta dish failed to impress the judges.

After the show, she returned to the field of medicine and is an Urgent Care Physician in paediatrics at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Whitney Miller was a College Student from Poplarville, Mississippi. She was the MasterChef season 1 winner due to her natural ability in the kitchen. 

After the show, she returned to college to complete her degree and released her cook book Modern Hospitality: Simple Recipes with Southern Charm and further released Whitney Miller’s New Southern Table. She has stayed heavily involved in cooking with many published recipes, television cookery segments, recipe development, cookery demonstrations and competitions and consultancy work.
