Little Market Cafe 24 Hours to Hell and Back

Gordon Ramsay visits Little Market Cafe in this special Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell and Back episode.

Little Market Cafe in Ellicott City, Maryland was hit by floods in both 2016 and 2018 and businesses have suffered as a result.

In order to save the restaurant and two others in the town Gordon is turning off the 24 hour timer and they will have a number of days for the task.

Jeni is the owner of Little Market Cafe, she has owned the cafe for five years and believes that the solid community is why her restaurant is so special.

The town never fully recovered following the second flood.

Gordon goes undercover as a historian with a group of locals and asks the townspeople to gather outside Little Market Cafe.

Gordon goes into the cafe to meet Jenni and gives her a big hug before taking her outside.

Outside the Cafe Gordon tells them that he will be doing whatever it takes to restore the town and that he needs the towns help.

Jenni tells us that the Cafe is struggling each month since the floods and local business owner Dave tells of her kindness.

Her staff care for her greatly and tell of her support for them.

Gordon meets Jenni and they talk about the flood. Jenni was at home when manager Max called but when she arrived she couldn't get past the parking lot.

Max was trapped inside and he told her that he is unable to swim. With the help of two locals Jenni was able to get him out of the building.

Gordon meets with the staff and the loyal staff feel like family and have worked unpaid in order to help save the restaurant.

He introduces the team that will be helping including Theresa and staff from the National Guard and the team clear out the cafe.

Gordon takes the staff from the cafe out to his Hell on Wheels truck where his staff will be showing them the new menu so that Jenni can spend more time as front of house.

Gordon takes all of the owners to the home of the Baltimore Ravens where they will be displaying a huge billboard advertising the town during the first home game of the season.

The rain slows the progress of painting the outside of the building and he calls in extra help.

Jenni arrives at the cafe to cheers from the locals and the exterior of the cafe has been completely transformed with a new exterior, firepit and terrace.

On relaunch, the fire pit smores a big hit with the kids and the customers outside are loving the new food.

Jenni is in the kitchen and gets a small scolding from Gordon, who calls her a maverick and asks her to never change.

Gordon promises to come back in the summer and gives Jenni a big hug after telling her to get out the front of the business.
