MasterChef Season 13 / MasterChef: United Tastes of America aired from the 24th May to 20th September 2023.

The show aired on the Fox Network and there were 20 contestants.

The prize for the winner of MasterChef 12 was $250,000, the MasterChef trophy and training at restaurants owned by the three judges.

MasterChef US season 13 features MasterChef season 13 judges Gordon Ramsay, Aarón Sanchez and Joe Bastianich.

They undertake a number of challenges and dishes to prepare, with those failing to impress being sent home.


Amanda Clark Katz Amanda Clark Katz was a Stay-at-home mom from Sherman Oaks, California. She was on Team West.

She was eliminated in episode 5 due to her fish tacos not impressing the judges.

After MasterChef, Amanda is a YouTuber and social media chef.


Brynn Weaver Brynn Weaver was a Bartender from Providence, Rhode Island. She was on Team Northeast.

She was eliminated in episode 16 after her and Kolby's salmon and parsnip dish failed to impress the judges.

After MasterChef, Brynn is a restaurant manager.


Charles Calvino Charles Calvino was a Hairstylist from Columbus, Ohio. He was on Team Midwest.

He was eliminated in episode 12 after he crumbles under the pressure of cooking a three course meal.

After MasterChef, Charles is a recipe developer and social media chef.


Grant Gillon Grant Gillon was a Brewery sales directort from Altoona, Iowa. He was on Team Midwest.

He was the Masterchef season 13 winner due to his consisten menu and the exceptional quality of it.

After MasterChef, Grant has done a number of pop up dining events at a local golf course.

Grant is a food content creator, often posting videos with his son.

He plans to open his own restaurant.

Grant and his wife welcomed a new baby boy in December 2023.


James Barfield James Barfield was a Mushroom jerky manufacturer from Portland, Oregon. He was on Team West.

He was eliminated in episode 13 after his sea bass dish failed to impress the judges.

After MasterChef, James is now a chef and has done a number of charity events.

Jennifer Maune Jennifer Maune was a Lifestyle blogger from Little Rock, Arkansas. She was on Team South.

She was a runner up in the finale.

After MasterChef, Jennifer is now a chef alongside blogging.

She released her own line of seasonings under brand Heritage Seasonings.


Kendal Adair Kendal Adair was a Trucking company owner from Olive Branch, Mississippi. He was on Team South.

He was eliminated in episode 10 after overcooking chicken on the grill.

After MasterChef, Kendal competes in grill competitions.

He competes as part of the Smoked N’ Spiced Competition BBQ team.

Kendal also does pop up dining events.


Kennedy Underwood Kennedy Underwood was a Festival vendor from Denver, Colorado. She was on Team West.

She was a runner up in the finale.

After MasterChef, Kennedy opened a pop up restaurant and has plans to open others.


Kolby Chandler Kolby Chandler was an Entrepreneur from Houston, Texas. He was on Team South.

He was eliminated in episode 16 after undercooking the salmon on his dish.

After MasterChef, Kolby sells seasonings online as Bayou City Seasonings.

He is also a private chef.

Kolby had previously appeared on Top Chef Amateurs.


Kyle Hopkins Kyle Hopkins was an Entrepreneur from Houston, Texas. He was on Team Midwest.

He was eliminated in episode 9 after his Meyer Lemon Cake wasn't well received by the judges.

After MasterChef, Kyle was Market Manager KS/MO at Surly Brewing Co.

He is currently Chief Executive Officer at Fields & Ivy Brewery.

Kyle is also a Private Chef.


Lizzie Hartman Lizzie Hartman was a Preschool teacher's aid from Fairbanks, Alaska. She was on Team West.

She was eliminated in episode 14 after parts of her dish were undercooked and overcooked.

After MasterChef, Lizzie is a personal chef, event caterer and cooking class teacher.

Madame Donut Madame Donut was a Donut shop owner from Maui, Hawaii. She was on Team West.

She was eliminated in episode 15 after overcooking her snapper. She was praised for bringing more variety to the competition.

After MasterChef, MD has taken her donuts on the road with popups all over the US.

Other MasterChef contestants have joined her at her locations.


Nina Interlandi Bell Nina Interlandi Bell was a Marketing manager from Woolwich, Maine. She was on Team Northeast. .

She was eliminated in episode 11 after her Chicken Tikka Massala failed to impress the judges.

After MasterChef, Nina has done a number of cookery events focussed on foraging.

She has also released a book on foraging.


Purvi Dogra Purvi Dogra was a Credit & collection manager from East Windsor, New Jersey. She was on Team Northeast. .

She was eliminated in episode 8 after her butter chicken dish was critqued by the judges.

After MasterChef, Purvi is a baker at Everything but Plates, providing cakes to order.


Reagan Sidney Reagan Sidney was a Paralegal from New Orleans, Louisiana. She was on Team South. .

She was eliminated in episode 18 after her venison dish was missing its sauce.

After MasterChef, Reagan is a Private chef at Curated by Reagan.

She offers meal prep services and in home dining.
