Angels Sports Bar is closed.
Racks Billiards and Bourbon / Angel's Sports Bar closed in 2018.
In 2015, there was a fatal stabbing outside the bar.
In May 2019, the empty building caught fire and was damaged.
Downey's Irish Pub is closed.
Kilkenny's Irish Pub / Breakwall Bar and Grill closed in March 2016.
Downey's closed after going into foreclosure, owing the state $80,000 in taxes.
The Abbey Pub is closed.
They closed in November 2015.
It closed following a fire and a water leak and they hoped to reopen.
A gofund me page had been set up and currently stands at $13,000, Jon donated $2500 himself.
Kilkenny's Irish Pub is closed.
Kilkenny's closed in January 2012.
It closed after being transformed in a beach bar and renamed Breakwall.
The owners felt it was bringing in a younger crowd and the changes were for the better.
The regular customers however disagreed.
Swanky Bubbles is closed.

The bar was renamed to Sheer but the owners reverted to Swanky Bubbles very quickly.

After Bar Rescue, the customers loved the new food and they were able to raise prices.
They lost over $120000 due to construction at a neighbouring property that meant they were unable to open their patio.
The Chicken Bone is closed.

They didn't reopen due to low trade and after they had closed for the summer.
They had delayed the reopening many times before deciding to sell the restaurant.
They blame the closure on the decline of the local economy.

Piratz Tavern is closed.
Piratz Tavern / Corporate Bar and Grill closed in April 2015.
They reverted back to Piratz Tavern, abandoning Jon's new name of Corporate Bar and Grill.
They blamed the closure on the negative backlash from appearing on Bar Rescue and constant repeats of the episode.
Their lease was not renewed as a result.
Bamboo Beach Tiki Bar / Bamboo Beach Club is open.
Reviews are mostly positive but some patron's didn't rate their visit to the bar.
The food and service appear to be hit or miss.
J.A. Murphy's is closed.
J.A. Murphy's / Murphy's Law closed in July 2012, prior to the airing of the episode.
It was put up for sale but struggled to sell due to structural problems.
Mystique Lounge is closed.
Mystique Lounge / Aura Nightclub closed in 2013.
The building was abandoned for quite a while.
The Olive Pit is open.
Jon renamed the bar to The O.P.

Bar Rescue Season 3

Aired: February 2013 to May 2014
Turtle Bay is open.
It was renamed to Spirits on Bourbon.
The resurrection drink is still popular and revenue has increased by millions of dollars.
The reviews are good.
Headhunters is closed.
Headhunters / Metal and Lace closed in April 2014 after being renamed to Metal and Lace.
Their tax receipts appear to suggest low sales prior to the closure.
They were reportedly looking for a new space after their lease ended but have yet to reopen.
TJ Quills is open.
They changed the name back after being renamed as The Annex during Bar Rescue.
Reviews after the rescue are mostly positive with a few complaints about bartenders and bouncers.
The Brixton is closed.
The Brixton closed in March 2020.
It closed after the couple sold their share in the bar.
They quickly changed back after being renamed as Rocket Room 6 during Bar Rescue and reviews were good.
Zanzibar is open.
Customers like the pool tables but they also say bartenders offer better service to their friends.
Owner Ami changed the name from Solids and Stripes back to Zanzibar after the bar was renamed during the show.
The Kasbah is closed.
They closed in 2020, after failing to open after the state closure.
There was a shooting outside the nightclub in May 2018 and reviews are mostly positive.
Shelton has repaid his debts, built a restaurant to be able to serve food and has continued to improve the club.
Lona's Wardlow Station is open.
It was renamed to Lona’s City Limits Cantina during the show.

It closed after the city council approved a new development where it was located.
Business had improved and Sal was able to clear his debts.

The bar was renamed to Chilleen's on 17 and they kept the name.
After Bar Rescue, Donna quit drinking and sales were up 80%.
Reviews are positive with compliments about the food, friendly staff and location.
Stand Up Scottsdale is closed.
Stand Up Scottsdale closed in April 2017.
They had plans to reopen in 2018, however this didn't happen.
Owner Howard undid a number of the changes made including those to the green room and the name.
Bar Rescue had to return to repaint the exterior due to breaching local policy with the colour.

It had previously been sold in 2014 but remained open as Bar 702.

Cashmere is closed.
Cashmere / Duel Ultra Nightclub closed in May 2014 after the building was sold.
The manager claimed a lot of the events on the episode were staged.
Handlebar Cafe is open.
Reviews are mostly positive.
They were issued cease and desist orders by the Town Council.
They were a mural and the pair of handlebars above the front entrance put in by the show.
As a result they took them down.
Barlow's is closed.
Barlow's / Comeback Sports Bar and Grill closed in October 2017 after the bar was sold.
They kept the new name.
In 2016, owner Susan Wood won a seat on the city council.
Gipsy is closed.
Gipsy closed in January 2014.
Owner Paul stripped out the entire interior of the bar as he disliked the changes made during Bar Rescue.
The building has been demolished.
Paul planned on rebuilding from the ground up after a number of issues have delayed the process.
The reopening was delayed.
Cliques Bar and Grill / 22 Klicks Bar and Grill is open.
They kept the new name.
In 2018, Jon revisited the bar.
The bar was doing well and they have kept the drinks menu that Jon added.
After the episode, reviews are mostly positive.
The reviews are positive about the food but the service has some negative comments.
Libad's Bar and Grill is closed.

This led to a city investigation that found other modifications that weren't permitted.

Underworld Grill and Bar / The End closed in February 2016.
They closed after failing to renew their lease.
They had moved location a few doors down and business was reportedly up 40%.
Kerry's Sports Pub is closed.

Co-owner Matthew has had many brushes with the law.
He has been charged with sexual abuse, failing to register as a sex offender and assault.

Their reputation declined as did customer numbers.
Rhythm and Brews is closed.

Laguna Lounge is closed.

Ivan changed the name back immediately.

ReplyDeleteNot really. It's a different bar with the same name and different owners. The original Panic Room was renamed by Bar Rescue to Tonic Lounge, then they changed their name to The Raven, then closed. New owners opened up a new Tonic Lounge.
